BRAZILIAN BUTT LIFT (BBL)
BBL can enhance the natural curves for patients who are unhappy with the shape or their buttocks and add volume to flat or small buttocks. The procedure lifts the buttocks to a higher position, increases the volume and reshapes the buttocks by transferring and injecting fat from other parts of the body into the buttock. As it uses the patient’s own body fat to reshape the buttocks it creates a more natural result. It also minimizes the risk of infection, allergic reaction and graft rejection, sometimes encountered with foreign materials. The fat is obtained from areas where there is excess fat such as the abdomen, waist, love handles, back and thighs. It is then processed and purified before being re-implanted into targeted areas of the buttocks. The procedure increases fullness, roundness and projection of the buttock area but also contours the areas around the buttocks achieving a more sculpted profile.
PURE FAT GRAFT
Fat is usually removed from the abdomen, thighs and waistline and prepared through a special technique (centrifugation), before being transplanted into the buttocks. It is important to follow a strict protocol of fat graft preparation in order to achieve maximum graft survival. Furthermore, the fat can be combined with regenerative growth factors from the patient's own blood (HYPPP-Fill technique), which significantly improves the survival of fat cells, contributing to a better result. Also, the removal of fat through the Ultrasound-Liposuction technique (VASER-Lipoemulsion) guarantees that the adipose tissue removed is vital and rich in stem cells, so it is ideal for lipotransfer and for increasing the desired buttock volume.

In the modern era of cosmetic surgery, having simple (i.e. vacuum-assisted) liposuction is usually not enough, because the skin will tend to be lose after the procedure. The VASER treatment can be combined with liposuction, allowing the removal of larger amounts of fat, without the risk of skin sagging. The device will deliver controlled heat to areas of your body maximizing the safety and benefits of pulsed ultrasound technology (acoustic streaming). Thus, the removal of fat is carried out in a significantly more atraumatic manner, creating less bruising, pain and less downtime. Also, the cosmetic result is superior to simple liposuction as the surgeon can perform high-definition liposculpture of the tummy, thighs and waistline, enhancing 3D shape and tone.
The heat delivered by the VASER device will liquefy the fat cells, while triggering the production of new collagen and elastin fibers for promoting skin contraction after the liposuction, which will continue to improve in appearance up to 6-12 months post-operatively. During a VASER® procedure, the area to be treated is filled with a medicated solution containing anaesthetic. RECOVERY
VASER treatment involves minimal downtime, and most patients would be able to go back to their normal work routine in about two to three days after the procedure. While the results are often noticeable within a few days, you will continue to experience tightening, firming up, and smoothing in the treated areas over several months as your skin regenerates naturally from within.
RESULTS
The results of the BBL procedure are evident immediately after the surgery and continue to improve in the following weeks as the swelling subsides and the skin retracts. It is important to avoid putting pressure on the buttocks in the first week, in order to ensure maximum graft survival. A special compression garment is worn in the first 4 weeks. Sport activities and heavy weight lifting should be avoided for 1 month.
