IDEAL PROPORTIONS
Dr. Ektor is a believer that the lips are of great importance for the perception of beauty as their appearance in part determines the attractiveness of a person’s face. Fuller lips in relation to facial width and greater vermilion height are perceived as attractive in females. Horizontal thirds and the golden ratio provide the proportions for beauty and attractiveness, also of the lips. The golden ratio has been used since da Vinci’s time and has been applied to describe the classic proportions of the lips relative to the rest of the face. The ideal ratio of the vertical height of the upper lip to that of the lower lip is 1:1.6. All these fine details are incorporated in Dr. Ektor's personally-developed Lip-Uplift™ technique, which he always uses as he strives to achieve lip harmony and symmetry, while at the same time providing natural-looking fullness and beautiful lip shape.
HIGHEST QUALITY MATERIALS
Dr. Ektor always uses the right type of filler for each area of the face. For example, Lip Injection Fillers have a different molecular weight compared to Fillers used in the nasolabial fold or Fillers used for augmentation of the cheekbones. Even different parts of the lips require different type of Filler material, e.g. shaping of the vermilion border requires a softer filler than those used for lip volumization. We pay extra attention to the quality of the fillers we use, and choose to work with only established brands that provide specialized Fillers for Lips, e.g. Restylane, Yvoire, Juvederm, Stylage.
SAFE TREATMENT
All formulas used by Dr. Ektor are safe, very high quality and effective, hypoallergenic and FDA approved. They are applied with extra fine needles or cannulas specifically designed for such products so as to enhance precision, efficiency and patient comfort. Prior to a lip injection treatment a lidocaine anaesthetic is used to minimize discomfort and help patients remain relaxed throughout the treatment. The products we use also contain lidocaine anaesthetic for extra comfort.
